How it works
Manage chores and approvals as a family
Kids earn points when you approve their completed tasks, and WishJar calculates their balance from approved tasks and redeemed rewards.
Set up tasks
Choose daily, weekly, selected-day, or one-time tasks and assign a point value to each one.
Kids check them off
Kids join with a six-letter family code on a compatible iPhone or family iPad, without creating an account or password. WishJar requires iOS 26.1 or iPadOS 26.1 or later, so check compatibility before using an older device.
You approve in one tap
Approve completed tasks from the app, Lock Screen, or Apple Watch, with the option to include a note.
Points become rewards
Set the rewards and their point costs so kids can redeem them when they have enough points.

Review wishes and set goals together
Wishes and goals
Kids can suggest a wish, such as a sleepover at Grandma’s, for you to review as a possible reward or long-term goal. You can also decline it. Goal progress tracks effort, so redeeming other rewards does not reduce that progress.
Any grown-ups you choose
You can manage WishJar yourself or invite a co-parent, grandparent, or other helper. Each grown-up receives notifications and can approve tasks after an existing grown-up approves their request to join the family.
Approve from your wrist
Task alerts land on your Apple Watch and the Lock Screen, so “Riley finished Make bed” is a tap away wherever you are.
Private by design
WishJar does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking. Kids use profiles set up by a parent rather than creating their own accounts, and you can unlink their devices or delete your account in the app.
